On the road!!!!

So, I decided to jump onto the blogging-about-our-adventures bandwagon! It is day two on the road and the eve of our very first show at UNC Pembroke. Today we are staying at a Howard Johnsons, aka HoJo, where we get free wireless internet and a free breakfast (Yes!) Yesterday the Red Roof we stayed out didn't provide either of those. Boo Red Roof! But now that I have a connection, the blogging can begin.

We just got back from Shelley's (our lovely Stage Manager's room) room, where we watched 'Waiting For Guffman' by attaching a laptop to the tv, and hooking up one of those portable devices that redirect music from an ipod or any music playing device with a headphone jack to a radio tuned to the current dial channel (in our case, we used the radio of our hotel alarm clock). Mighty high tech, eh? Then we did a quick run through of lines to prep for our big day tomorrow!

I'm going to cut this short because I need to sleep earlier tonight, so I can get up early to take advantage of the waffle maker.
