"Actions Speak Louder Than Words!"

Currently, I'm blogging from our comfy Winston-Salem Days Inn conveniently located next to the huge Hanes Mall and next to a industrial warehouse named... no joke... 'Rapers'.

Our morning started at the HoJo in Lumberton, NC with breakfast and a minor waffle making tiff. Right before we had to leave for our first show, Virginia wanted to make a quick waffle for breakfast and was in line behind this other guest lady who was hogging up the machine and making multiple waffles and wouldn't let Virginia cut in to make just one. Guest lady was like it's only going to take a few minutes more, and Virginia told her that we only had 10 minutes before we had to leave, and guest lady said all snippy like "well, we're already late" (as her peeps leisurely ate at the table behind us). And Virginia said she'd just have a muffin... then the lady after much quiet pondering ended up giving Virginia hers, which was nice, then she said proclaimed "my actions speak louder than my words..."

Well, today was our first show of M & R at the Givens Performing Arts Center at UNC Pembroke. Hurrah! We got to finally put on the roof/second story of our house and we finally got to see our complete set for the first time.
The stage was huuuuuuuge... so today was good practice with adjusting to new locations. It was so much fun hearing the kids laughing and talking back at us! Also, kids love it when you fall on stage! Anywho, we have our first three show day tomorrow. I'm going to need to drink a lot of water tomorrow, because the Max fat suit makes me sweat gallons.
